About This Work
This vivid, neo-expressionist portrait of Jim Morrison utilizes dense, heavy impasto and energetic palette knife work. Swirling layers of magenta, electric blue, violet, and crisp white define his wild, iconic hair and piercing gaze. Intensely textured strokes construct the face, creating a vibrant, psychedelic intensity throughout the piece.
